Hi Geobloggers!

This time I will speak about a classmate's blog, the blog that I revised belong to Camila Sanhueza, her blog have 9 posts. The design of her page is simple but pretty and delicate, she used a green background and I like that because I love the green color xD.
The blog of Camila has 10 photos and has 1 video.

The post that I choose of the Camila's blog is the last post that she wrote and this post is about "A special place in Santiago" and she chose the center of the Santiago city, in this publication she talk about the things that she like doing in this place; her post has 206 words of the 200 minimums that the teacher demanded. I chose this post because this post is the most recent of her publications.

Revision of the blog:

(P)hi english class
Today (P)i'm going to talk about a special place in Santiago that (P)i like to go.
If there is a place in Santiago where (P)i like to go (P) (Sm) is a(WW) centre of the city, where you can find many shops, museums, and you can see many kinds of street art and old and historical buildings.
The truth (P) is(NN) the last time where(WW) i went there was a few months (Sm), because (P)i really have many things to do of(WW) sunday, my prefer(WF) day to go there (because you can find less people and observe better the buildings and his many details), but (P)i think I will go there soon.
I try to go with some friend or my boyfriend, sometimes in the morning for go to museums and see the old people to(WW) go there like a "dominical walk" (sometimes thinking in his(WF) lives), and other times in the afternoon walking around all streets appreciating different buildings on the place, take pictures, and have different kinds of conversation, until arrive to the Forestal Park and get an ice cream for the end come back our homes.
I don’t go there since march or april, but (Sm) writing this I want to go there soon.

A Special Place in Santiago

Hello Geobloggers

In this publication I will write about my special place in Santiago, and it is the "Renca hill", this is the hill most high of Santiago of Chile, it is located between Renca and Quilicura and it's 420 metres of height, its altitud is of 905  metres above sea level and its surface is of 879,82 hectares.
The main charasteristics of  the Renca hill are: In its top it has a cross, in the middle has a giant poster that says: "Renca la lleva".and has native vegetation and native fauna.

This hill is to two streets of my house  and I have to cross a highway through a footbridge  for arrive to the Renca hill, but, in spite being so close, it is always very deserted and because of this, it is considered a dangerous place, and I never approached to this hill until I was 16 years old, and started to exercising with my older brother, and together we started to climb the hill, jogging and running, five days to the week during one year; later my brother married and, since then, rarely I climb this hill.

I really love this place, isn't the most beautiful hill, but it is surrounded by a highway and therefore the people don't go to the hill, and this cause a isolation situation, this is amazing! because you can feeling alone in middle of the city, in this hill you can see diverse vegetation and some flowers, especially in winter and spring when the Renca hill is completely green, and you can hear the sing of birds like "loica red chest", "humminbirg", among many others, also you can see rabbits and mouses; however, the most beautiful in this hill is reach the top and see the city in all directions, day and night the view is wonderful, definitely the "Renca hill" is my favourite place in Santiago. :D

Long Weekend

Hi Geobloggers

Ok... long time ago I should write about a long weekend, but I don't remember this specific weekend,  so I will write about what I did on the two month that the university was in student strike.

First, I slept too much xD, I saw many series in Netflix, I saw many series of anime; I was in home most of the time and every friday I looked after my niece and toghether we went to play to differents parks.

During the student strike was my birthday, the four of July, and to celebrate my birthday I went with my family to eat chicken to "Chicken Story" in Patronato, "Chicken Story" is a restaurant of korean food, and its food is delicious!!, I also went to do trekking to the park "Aguas de Ramón" with my brothers.

Other thing that I did was I went to see movies to the cinema, I saw "Me before you", "Ice age 5" and "Alice through the looking glass".

And this last week I enrolled to a free trekking workshop of "Santiago Joven" and the last weekend we went to the "Quebrada de Macul", and we walked eight hours, this was very entertaining, tiring and beautiful :D

Mods and Rockers

Hi Geobloggers!

I will write about a documentary of BBC of 2014 called "Mods and Rockers", this documentary talks about two subcultures of middle of 1960 on  United Kingdom, the Mods and the Rockers, both born in postwar period (after second world war) like expression of youth freedom.

The "Mods" or "modernists" focused in fashion, wore suits, and music like soul, ska and blues, and they rode motor scooters, while the Rockers centred on motorcycling  and the rock and roll music as well as they wore  black leather jackets. Both subcultures was confronted and were looked down upon socially on that period.

I think that this documentary is very interesting because I don't known much about the modern culture of England, and these subcultures are still alive, although aren't very popular, exist many people around the world that follow these styles, specially the Rockers, some people still rode motorcycles, wear black leather jackets and they meet for go across the city at present.

A piece of art

Hello Geobloggers

This time I will write about "A piece of art" or rather some pieces of art, I don't know nothing about art and I don't know many pieces of art, I just know some few pieces of art (the most famous), therefore this theme was very difficult for me, I don't have a favourite piece of art, but exist some that attract my attention  like the paintings of Rob Gonsalves or "The Starry Night" of Vincent Van Goh, and about these, I will write today :D

First I will write about the paintings of Rob Gonsalves, he is an painter of modern era that have a surrealism style, I like his paintings because its paintings are very interesting, Gonsalves plays with visuals effects and he creates pieces where you can see two escenes to the same time, mixing reality and illusion (magic realism) without lose the essence and the harmony of the painting.

On the other hand, The starry night  of Vincent Van Goh, is a classical piece of art,  in this painting, Van Goh represent  "Saint-Rémy-de-Provence" (France) and was painted in 1988, this painting is splendid, I love its colors and I love the misterious and magical world that paint.

Regards! :D
